Frequently Asked Questions

If we haven't addressed a question you may have below, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.

Where is your shop/store located?
We do not have a shop/store open to the public. We sell directly from the factory, we do this online via our website and deliver to your door....that's been our business model for the past 8 years and it has worked well so far!
I've heard bad things about buying online. Why should I buy from Empire Beds?
We are in business 8 years this year and have successfully sold thousands of beds and mattresses across Dublin and the whole of Ireland. We will let our reviews do the talking for us. Click on the icons to see our latest reviews:
How can I order a bed/mattress?
Ordering is simple. Click on our Online Store and add items to your basket. You can also click on the Contact Us section and give us a call, text or email and we'll take your order directly from you.

How can I pay for my order?
1) You can by credit/debit card securely via our website.
2) You can by credit/debit card securely via a hand held card terminal on the day of delivery.
3) You can pay securely via Revolut.
4) You can pay by cash-on-delivery (C.O.D)
5) For business customers, you can pay by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). We invoice electronically and you can pay electronically.
How long will it take to deliver my order?
If in stock, we endeavour to deliver your order within 1 to 3 days. For made to order sets etc, this may take an extra 1-2 days but we will discuss this with you before you order. Some mattresses can be delivered urgently (the same day), if in stock, but a delivery charge will apply.

Are your beds and mattresses made in Ireland?
Yes, anything we sell on this site is made in Ireland. Empire Beds is proud to be an Irish business that sells hand-crafted mattresses made here in Dublin. There are a lot of reasons to buy Irish made products. Buying Irish means:
-
You support safe working standards, fair wages, and no child labour.
-
Supporting better safety standards in your manufactured goods.
-
Supporting small, independently owned businesses instead of chain stores.
-
Allowing for more access to organic or eco-friendly products – Ireland often has a higher environmental standard than other countries.
