We can collect your old mattress for disposal when you purchase from us*. We can also take away your old divan bed base (see charges below). We bring your old items to a third party recycling service provider, where your old items are recycled in conjunction with all Irish and EU law.

*Important Notice

Empire Beds reserve the right to refuse the collection of mattresses upon inspection at your residence. The collection of the mattress is solely at the discretion of the delivery driver.We would ask, if possible, that mattresses needing disposal be kept indoors (house, garage, shed) and out of the rain until delivery of your new mattress. We would ask that mattresses with bad staining (urine, blood etc) be wrapped in plastic and that if this is not possible, to please notify us beforehand. Thank You.
